Mendrisio is on the the regional railway line Chiasso-Melide, one hour from Milan (Italy) and three hours from Zurich (Switzerland).

Mendrisio is located in the Canton Ticino. In this Canton the railway company TILO guarantees efficient and fast connections among the main urban centers. Generally there is a train every twenty minutes. During the week-end, between Friday and Saturday night, it is possible to travel on the lines S10 and S20 untill the late hours.
