Museo Vincenzo Vela
The country house the Ticinese sculptor Vincenzo Vela (1820-1891) had built to live and work in, was inaugurated as a museum in 1898.

The Gazebo
The Gazebo is a temporary structure built in the courtyard behind the Museo d’arte (Mendrisio Art Museum) and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. It is designed and built with the aim of presenting the contumes and props of the characters of the Procession of Holy Thursday.

Cloister of the Convent of the Servants of the Virgin
The former Convento dei Serviti (Servants of the Virgin) currently houses the Museo d’arte di Mendrisio (Mendrisio Art Museum). This museum has been organising exhibitions dedicated to the great 20th century masters since 1982.

Chiesa di San Giovanni già dei Padri Serviti
The Late Baroque Church of John the Baptist in Mendrisio was built for the Serviti religious order in 1722-1729.
