Boris van der Ham

Boris van der Ham has been chairman of the Dutch Foundation for World Heritage sites “Stichting Werelderfgoed Nederland” since 2015. In addition, he fulfills many other management positions in business, healthcare and the cultural sector. Between 2002 and 2012 he was a representative of the House of Representatives. Originally trained at the Maastricht Theater Academy, he is also a well-known actor and writer.

The Dutch Foundation for World Heritage sites “Stichting Werelderfgoed Nederland” has the responsibility to raise awareness of the World Heritage, to promote the interests of the World Heritage, to acquire, develop and share knowledge and to act together externally. All this to ensure that the individual world heritage sites can perform their tasks optimally.
